w3d – Swing me baby

What Works What Doesn’t (w3d) is a series of reviews of things I have tried.

When we looked for registry items we selected a few more expensive items for the grandparents to purchase. One of the items was the Papasan Cradle Swing by Fisher Price.

We love this swing because Jeffrey loves it. It features a seat that rotates 90 degrees so he can swing side to side or front to back. The seat also reclines to a more horizontal position. Above the seat is a mobile of leaves and bees with a convex mirror in the center. The mirror is more of an attraction to Jeffrey than the bees. It has a music box that plays nature sounds and lullabies. The swing mechanism is quite vigorous and the first setting is more than enough rock for our lightweight baby. There are 5 levels of swing and think Jeffrey will enjoy the high settings in a few months.
