So last Friday, Saturday and half of Sunday Marisa was out of town and now I am in Nashville for 4 days while Marisa is at home with the kids. We had her mom come out from CA to help and it was a good thing. Ariel has really been rough to deal with. Her rages are particularly intense and she is obviously in a stressed state. Even her therapist has commented that she hasn’t seen Ariel this bad before. Marisa has had some really good personal moments dealing with it all and her mom has been able to bond with Ariel as well.
It is hard to concentrate on my seminar knowing all the crazy stuff going on at home but there is little I can do. I’ve been able to pray with Ariel each night via phone and I think it helps as that is an important part of her routine.
