I’m John Ala, I became a new dad just shy of 43 when Jeffrey is born. I’d like to say that I’m more prepared since I waited so long to have a child but that’s not the case. I’m excited to be a father but glad I’m not any older. The delay wasn’t intentional as my wife and I had trouble conceiving.
Our second child joined our family at age 7. She has been in the care of the Denver County Foster Care Program since birth. It took a long time for God to complete our family and it’s not exactly the easiest one to be a part of, but I am confident the rewards will be worth it.
